ĀKĀŚA / SOMA
Purple canvas. White embroidery.
Ether under moonlight.
In Sanskrit, Ākāśa (आकाश) means space or ether, the subtle element that holds everything within it. Soma (सोम) carries associations with the sacred nectar and the moon.
Ākāśa reminds us that space is not emptiness. It is possibility. The place where we can listen beyond the noise, expand beyond what we know and make room for what is waiting to emerge.
Soma brings the softness. The lunar energy. The invitation to receive rather than reach, to replenish rather than push, and to remember that not all transformation happens through fire.
Some things are revealed in the quiet.
Some things can only be seen by moonlight.
VERSION 3
A slow and steady evolution in design.
Refined over three versions, each iteration getting closer to the bag I always wanted it to be.
Versions 1 + 2 were never released publicly. A select few exist in the wild, gifted to those who joined us on retreat and through Reiki training. Version 3 marks the next evolution, and the first edition available beyond the circle.
Thoughtfully designed, hand-sewn and embroidered in Bali in small batches by an independently owned local business.
NOT FOR YOU IF…
You think yoga is just stretching.
You’d rather skip the Sanskrit, the philosophy and where the practice actually came from.
You like your spirituality safe, palatable and beige.
You want the aesthetic without the lineage.
You’re afraid of exploring your edges, questioning what you’ve been taught or getting a little weird with the mystical, magical and esoteric.
